This delightful collection of fairy tales and folklore is part of the Oak Meadow Kindergarten curriculum package, and provides the stories that introduce the letters of the alphabet as well as the foundation for the Language Arts and Social Studies lessons. Each story in the collection introduces a new letter of the alphabet, in sequence. The stories include classic folk tales as well as selections from Beatrix Potter and the Brothers Grimm. In addition, simple drawings are included to demonstrate the connection between the letter and an element in the story. For example, the letter A is the garden gate in the story of Peter Rabbit, while the letter G forms the curved neck of the Golden Goose.
